Smyrna Market Village
Stop by Smyrna Market Village to do some shopping or grab a bite to eat! Since being established in 2002, this area has come to life by hosting the Community Center, City Hall, and more!
Taylor Brawner Park
This 10-acre park is host to a playground, multiple gazebos, green space, a walking trail, Brawner Hall, and the Taylor-Brawner House. If you happen to come by on a Tuesday, this parks hosts Food Truck Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. so grab a bite to eat! Restrooms are also available on-site. While here to play, stop by the Little Free Library to grab a book!
The Book House
New to Smyrna, The Book House is home to thousands of used and new books waiting to be loved! Science fiction, crime, kids’ books, and more are available here. Books can also be dropped off as a donation. Visit the store to see what events are coming up soon!
Smyrna History Museum
If you are interested in learning more about your city, visit the Smyrna History Museum Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for free! One hour guided tours are available at various times and can be viewed and booked on the website. Self guided tours are also available and visitors will be given a printed guide.
Lewis A Ray Branch Library
Known as the “popular” library due to it’s collection of current books, Lewis A Ray Library is one of the sixteen libraries in Cobb County. Stop by from Monday to Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. or Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. to sign up for a library card and borrow books! The Library also hosts a multitude of events for different ages so be sure to check the website.
International Welcome Center
By offering English language proficiency screenings to middle and high schoolers, the International Welcome Center works to help with communication at home and in school. Other services offered by this center include school advisement, grade placement, transcript evaluation, and translation of district policy, school documents, and more. Stop by the center to receive help with any language boundaries you have experienced in the education system. A Little Free Library is also available on site so be sure to grab a book!
