Promoting Resilience in Public Health

Lisa Crossman, MS

Deputy Director, Cobb & Douglas Public Health

Lisa has been with CDPH since 1997 and is primarily responsible for developing partnerships and resources to fulfill the CDPH strategic plan.  She also oversees many of the direct service programs, such as WIC, Safe Kids, and other Family Support services. Lisa and the CDPH staff were on the front lines for over 2 years working 24/7 dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, through testing, disease surveillance, outbreak investigation, contact tracing, community education and vaccinations.  Lisa is also the Executive Director of the CDPH nonprofit affiliate, the Cobb & Douglas Health Foundation. 

Lisa has been helping residents reach optimal health through individual wellness, physical rehabilitation, and health policy efforts since 1982.  She established several hospital and corporate-based wellness and cardiac/physical rehabilitation centers in Florida and Georgia over the past 35+ years, including Wellstar’s Health Place, the first hospital-based wellness center in Georgia, where she served as the inaugural Director from 1985-1997.  

Lisa is very active in the community and in addition to her work, she serves on the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Douglas Chamber of Commerce, the Cobb County Safety Village Foundation, Kiwanis Club of Marietta, Leadership Cobb, Leadership Douglas, The Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre Board, Georgia Metropolitan Dance  Theatre and North Metro Church.   She is married to Christopher, and they have two adult daughters. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, crew rowing, kayaking, dancing, and stepping outside of her comfort zone!

Sally Miller is the wife of Erik, the mother of Emily, Maggie, and Sammi, and the Grandmama to Lydia, Elijah, Marley, Isla, and Malachi. She's taught PreK for many years and loves working with young children and their families. Sally has a Master’s in Special Education and is grateful for the ways it ties to early learning and best practices for young children. For the last seven years, Sally has been working for Marietta City Schools at the Emily Lembeck Early Learning Center. As the Language and Literacy Liaison,Sally works beside community learning centers, their directors and teachers, and the parents and caregivers of young children in Marietta.

Granville Freeman

Granville Freeman brings over two decades of dedicated experience to the field of youth development. His diverse background encompasses impactful roles in the nonprofit, behavioral health, and education sector. Currently serving as a Mental Health/Whole Child Supports Coordinator at Metro RESA (Regional Educational Service Agency) as a consultant, Granville empowers schools in the Atlanta area to establish Community Schools while offering valuable insights on addressing Mental Health concerns within educational settings.

Granville holds a B.A. degree in Public Relations with a Minor in Leadership Studies, as well as an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in the state of Georgia, a Board Certified Tele-mental Health (BC-TMH) Practitioner, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGIP), he brings a wealth of expertise to his multifaceted roles.

As a co-owner of Elev8ion Coaching and Consulting, LLC, Granville is devoted to providing practical skill-based resources for individual growth. Through a supportive coaching community and access to diverse disciplines, clients receive immediate and discounted access to e-courses tailored to their needs, coaches that meet their immediate areas of focus, and peers that are traveling similar journeys. Elev8ion Coaching and Consulting, LLC aims to encourage individual growth by providing resources at the time and place needed, fostering support networks, and offering access to an array of coaches spanning various disciplines.

Finally, serving as the proud owner and operator of N'Spired By Achievement Family Services & Solutions, LLC., a mental health counseling agency, Granville specializes in working with Children, Adolescents, and Adults. His agency offers individual therapy, Clinical Supervision, Workshops, and Trainings, all geared toward diminishing the stigma associated with mental health therapy. Granville is a firm believer in the proverb "It takes a village..." and finds fulfillment in actively contributing to the collective well-being of young people in their communities. Success, to him, lies in playing a vital role within this village.

Sandee Panichi

Sandee K. Panichi currently serves as Deputy Director of Cobb Senior Services. Ms. Panichi holds a Bachelor of Arts, Urban Studies (Georgia State University) and Master of Arts, Gerontology (University of West Georgia), and certification in conflict resolution from the Justice Center of Atlanta. Ms. Panichi is a member of the American Society of Aging, Georgia Gerontology Society and a graduate of Partners in Policymaking through the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities and is a member of the Cobb Opioid Strategy Coalition.

Fabricia Prado, LCSW
EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist, ACEs Master Trainer

Fabricia Prado is a trilingual licensed clinical social worker with seasoned experience and strong commitment to serving the needs of diverse populations. She is owner of Prado Counseling and Consulting in Marietta, Ga. She is a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP) and a master trainer and speaker on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

She has served in leadership roles at CEPTA, Inc. in their telecounseling program and works with the National Latino Behavioral Health Association (NLBHA) under their cultural and linguistic approach to expand training resources and webinars to include Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. Fabricia has presented webinars and written articles about ACEs and Trauma-Informed Care as part of the Prevention Technology Transfer Centers efforts to prevent trauma and its consequences

Fabricia earned her master of social work from Kennesaw State University and master of psychology and bachelor’s in psychology from Pontifical University Catholic of Goiás, Brazil.

Julie Wallace
Community Impact Specialist
Wellstar Center for Health Equity Community Health

Julie Wallace is a Community Impact Specialist for Wellstar’s Center for Health Equity Community Health department. She is currently coordinating mental health programming for the community throughout the Wellstar / Metro Atlanta footprint. Julie holds a Master’s of Science degree in Psychology and has experience in Counseling as well as Crisis Stabilization. She hopes to educate the public about mental illness in order to support and de-stigmatize mental health treatment. Julie lives in Marietta, Georgia, with her husband, Adam, son, Robert, and their three cats, Bella, Trixie, and Murray.
