Register Now for Jobs and Housing Event

Join Commissioner Monique Sheffield, Cobb Works, Cobb Police, Cobb Sheriff’s office, non-profit organizations, Cobb Legal Aid, direct hire employers and recruiting agencies on Saturday, July 31, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Cobb County Public Safety Police Training Academy for a career fair and tenant forum.

Employers will be onsite offering available job opportunities, non-profits will be onsite to discuss the application process for COVID relief funds, and HUD counselors will be onsite to assist in finding landlords that will accept Housing Choice Vouchers. July 28 Job Search and Interview Workshop

Cobb Legal Aid will be present at this event. Tenants eligible for legal aid’s services can meet with an attorney for free legal advice and if needed, assistance with drafting an answer to an eviction case.
