Youth Suicide Prevention: “Georgia’s Children in Crisis”

Join MHA of Georgia for a viewing of Youth Suicide Prevention-Georgia’s Children in Crisis created through the partnerships at the Child Fatality Review Program. For every child who commits suicide, national statistics indicate 25 others will have attempted to take their own life. That means approximately 3,600 other children have attempted suicide during the same time. In response, several Georgia organizations have come together to produce a series of public service announcements (PSAs) aimed at children helping children. The youth featured in this PSA share their struggles and offer a message of hope to others who may be in need.

Participants will learn from youth who have experienced crisis, the signs and symptoms of needing support, effective ways to cope with life struggles and how to best support youth experiencing a mental crisis. Register HERE
