Verbal Intervention Training

Join us for Verbal Intervention (VI) Training on November 7th from 1 PM- 4PM.
Verbal Intervention (VI) Training is a condensed 3-hour program designed to prepare your staff to effectively identify, respond to, and prevent low-risk crisis behavior using non-restrictive intervention techniques. This focused training provides essential skills in de-escalation and communication, enabling your team to manage challenging situations safely and effectively without the need for physical intervention. The streamlined format ensures that your staff can quickly gain the necessary knowledge to maintain a supportive and secure environment.
Location: KSU Student Volunteerism & Service office located at the KSU Center (3333 Busbee Drive) at the West Entrance. To reach the West Entrance, you will need to drive around to the very back side of the building, and you can park anywhere. You’ll enter through the door next to the Division of Student Affairs sign.
