First Quarter General Membership Meeting

Cobb Collaborative hosts quarterly General Membership Meetings at various locations throughout the year. These events feature networking time, lunch and a key note speaker as well as updates on happenings with the Collaborative.
At the March 19, 2025 Cobb Collaborative First Quarter Member Meeting, Sharyn Dowd of Braver Angels will describe the various free workshops and non-partisan conversations offered by Braver Angels, engage participants in a short sample exercise, and answer questions.
Sharyn Dowd is one of two volunteer co-coordinators for Braver Angels Georgia. Before retirement she taught Biblical studies at the seminary and university levels and served several Baptist congregations.
Braver Angels, founded in 2016, is a non-profit grassroots movement promoting depolarization and mutual respect among those who disagree about political and cultural issues. Hundreds of volunteers across the country are supported by a small national staff of technical assistants and administrators.
The meeting location is at MUST Ministries in the community room – 1260 Cobb Parkway North, Marietta, GA 30062. This is next to MUST Hope House and in the former Cobb EMC Facility.
Lunch is provided, so please register only if you are able to attend.
