Basics Workshop: Read and Discuss Stories

When reading with your toddler, help them follow along. Point to the words and pictures. Talk about the colors, shapes, and what the characters are doing.

Toddlers learn through repetition, so it is normal when they want to read a favorite book over and over. Notice how proud they feel when they master the story. But try for variety too, because new books offer new things to see and learn.

Join us for a FREE half-hour Basics Workshop: Read and Discuss Stories on July 25 at 10:30AM or 11:30AM at the North Cobb Regional Library. This workshop is open to little ones up to five years old (pre-kindergarten) and their parents/caregivers.
