Basics Workshop: Explore Through Movement and Play

Join us at Collar Park Pavilion on July 15 for this FREE workshop session at 10:30AM featuring our friends from Paint Love. Austell Mayor Mayor Ollie Clemons Jr. will also be at the event to read to the children!
This workshop is open to little ones up to five years old (pre-kindergarten) and their parents/caregivers. ALL are welcome and no reservations are required. Join us for a morning of reading, creativity and FUN!

The Basics Principle 4: Explore Through Movement and Play
There are many different kinds of play: imaginative and pretend play, creative activities such as drawing, all sorts of games, and physical play, such as rolling a ball or dancing. Movement and play are good for children’s bodies and brains. Movement and play keep children healthy and build their coordination and strength. Children also explore and learn about the world through movement and play.
