Barry Smith

Pastor Barry Smith currently serves as the Executive Minister at the First Christian Church of Mableton and has served in Ministry for over 20 years. He is married to Kristin (Homeschool mom) and has 3 sons all of which are Eagle Scouts.

Barry resides in Smyrna, Georgia and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and is still active in the local leadership of the Boy Scouts of America.

Barry has been involved in the non-profit community of South Cobb for over a decade including work with the Cobb Food Fleet, Unite Atl, South Cobb United, Mableton Improvement Coalition, as well as the Cobb Collaborative. Barry has a strong passion for the South Cobb Community and believes in the power of collaboration. Barry is often seen throughout the community and is always striving for partnerships that build a flourishing, thriving community.
