Planning & Evaluation Committee
The Planning & Evaluation Committee is responsible for:
- Planning, organizing, and coordinating the Cobb County Nonprofit Grant process;
- Providing oversight on the County Needs Assessment Process; and,
- Assisting in evaluation of Collaborative operations.
Grant Review Process
The FY2009-2010 Cobb County Non-Profit Grant Review Process was completed in September 2008.
Future Timeline for next grant process:

January 2010 - Grant application will be released

February 2010 - Recruit Peer Review Team Members (Volunteer Interest Form)

March 2010 - Recruit Peer Review Team Members

April 2010 - Cobb County Nonprofit Grant Application DEADLINE - Peer Review Teams will be trained in April. Application reviews and site visits will begin in April

May 2010 - Finish reviewing applicants and conducting site visits. Scores will be reviewed by Peer Evaluation Committee (PEC).

June 2010 - CCC Executive Committee will review PEC recommendations on funding. CCC Members will vote on recommendations. Final recommendations will be presented to the Cobb County Commission Chairman.

September 2010 - Applicants will be notified regarding grant awards

October 2010 - Grant funding cycle begins. Grant contracts mailed.
