Celebrate Life International - Teach One to Lead One (T1L1)
The Teach One to Lead One® (T1L1) philosophy will be used to develop character and leadership skills of young people in Cobb County. The T1L1 program includes materials and personnel that equip young people to build lives of integrity, create positive relationships, stand strong in healthy habits and to multiply their influence among their peers. This international program includes mentoring, powerful training aids, practical materials, exciting presentations and hands-on activities. The delivery of T1L1 is comprised of several components as described below: Curriculum – Students will receive weekly instruction in the classroom as specified in the T1L1 curriculum. The program emphasizes principle-based living to the students and it challenges them to adopt that philosophy in their lives. The T1L1 Facilitator will introduce concepts and provide students with application opportunities for those concepts through stories, group activities, role-playing, etc. Each weekly session is designed to help the student visualize how to implement the principles in their life and how to influence others.

Cobb & Douglas Public Health - Project TNT (Towards No Tobacco)
Project TNT is a comprehensive curriculm designed to prevent or reduce tobacco use among 9-12 year olds. This program has been proven to reduce initiation of cigarette and smokeless tobacco use. Although this program has a focus on tobacco use prevention, the majority of the skills that the youth learn can be applied in a variety of different situations.

Cobb County Community Services Board- Next Steps - Next Steps
Cobb/Douglas County CSB is pleased to offer a program for children and adolescents called Next Steps. The Next Steps program provides a comprehensive array of mental health and substance abuse services for children and adolescents including medication management, psychiatric assessment, individual, family and group counseling, parenting classes and community support services. Services are child centered and family focused with an emphasis on individualized and accessible treatment for young people and their families. We accept Medicaid (all types, including MCOs Amerigroup, Cenpatico and Magellan) PeachCare, or other Insurance and can also make other financial arrangements using a self-pay sliding fee scale. In order to meet the needs of the young people we serve, Next Steps utilizes an interdisciplinary team comprised of child and adolescent psychiatrists and more than 50 experienced counselors, social workers, psychologists, nurses and community support workers. The Cobb/Douglas CSB also offers the Youth Offender Re-entry Program (YORP) that addresses the needs of sentenced substance-abusing juveniles who are returning from incarceration through assessment, transition planning, systems coordination, treatment and follow-up. Funding for this program is provided by SAMHSA.

Prevent Child Abuse Georgia - 1-800-CHILDREN Helpline
HELPLINE serves callers from the State of Georgia providing information, support and linkages to community resources. Callers are able to consult and problem solve in a safe, confidential manner. If requested, callers can also receive follow-up HELPLINE support. Expected outcomes are linkages to community resources and information and support that will result in more stability for families. Through the youth outreach strategy, "Need to Talk?", youth who call the Helpline receive assistance with life skills and problem solving as well as a supportive environment to discuss difficult issues.

TellTale Theatre - I Can, I Can
A new and original early drug awareness and prevention play. This comic fantasy adventure makes children aware of the dangers and of alcohol, cigarette and drug use. A high energy show featuring vibrant multi-media projections and audience interaction. Shows appropriate for grades 1st-3rd and 4th-5th. *Limited number of performance are available free for Cobb schools with greater financial need through a grant received from the Cobb County Commissioners.
